Ghadames: Libyan city UNESCO World Heritage
Nothing in the world looks like Ghadames , declared World Heritage by UNESCO this ancient city evokes the magic of this idyllic city surrounded by oasis, palms and especially from the traditional houses that shelter from the scorching sun of the Sahara.
Every corner of the city is a surprise and it seems the time has stopped thanks to the perfect condition of the nearly abandoned town (17,000 inhabitants).
