El Jadida è una città che si affaccia sul mare a meno di 100km da Casablanca.
Come arrivare?
La città è facilmente raggiungibile in treno dalle stazioni di Casa Port e Casa Voyageours (Approximately € 35DH = 3.5). www.oncf.ma
The train station is quite far from downtown, you have to take a taxi from Casablanca otherwise there are buses almost every hour.
Where to stay?
'offerta The housing is large, I was all ' hotel Brussels about 80DH (8 €) per night in single room with bathroom (see photo below).
What to see? The city is especially important for the Portuguese citadel (well UNESCO) where the tank stands Portuguese (10DH entry, this tank was used as a film set in the movie Othello of Orson Wells ) and any part of Portugal (ancient city of Mazagan) is an exceptional example of cultural exchange between European and Moroccan culture.
behind the walls of the medina and is the port, very impressive for a few photos into the sunset. The medina has nothing to do with the famous medina as Fez and Tetouan in a day but you have the time to do a little walk.
Beaches:
The beach of the city is certainly not the best, but it is quite wide and very attended. By day, many young boys playing soccer and people are forced to go to extremes north to stay a little in peace (to the 'Hotel Ibis , hip is the most frequented by Europeans).
If you go further north there is a chance to swim near a sunken ship near the beach.
Here are some photos:
