La Semana Santa in Murcia and Cartagena (Spain)
The Holy Week is the ; week in which Christianity celebrates faith-related events of the last days of Jesus, including in particular his passion, death and resurrection. The Semana Santa is celebrated in major cities English but perhaps more important are the processions in Seville and Murcia.
Murcia (capital of the community of Murcia), Episcopalian and university has one of the most beautiful cathedrals of the English landscape (Gothic and Baroque Andalusian). It is also famous for its 300 days of sunshine that makes it easy visiting the city and the province offers more of the beaches of great natural beauty. About an hour is Cartagena , was was the principal city of the ; Carthaginians in Spain and from there he left Hannibal to start the Second Punic War, offers many monuments of national value as the Punic Wall, the last remnant of the defensive walls built by the Carthaginians, the Roman Theatre, the Church of Santa Maria (withholding la prima di Spagna).
