Alla ricerca degli Okonomiyaki

who grew up among the manga like I know what I'm talking about. You know Kiss me Licia and M'arrabbio ? and their restaurant? Licia clumsy attempts with one where he tried to cook something to the plate. And all of us as children were the ones to ask what kind of pancakes cooked in front of customers, of which he was so greedy cat Julie (the one with the Italian name also in the original).
Or move to something newer, who did not laugh with that crazy Ukyo carton animato di Rumiko Takahashi "Ranma 1/2" ?
A Tokyo non siamo riusciti a trovarli, ma dopo aver letto sulla guida che are a specialty of Hiroshima (as well as Osaka ) we said: it is the perfect opportunity.
So after visiting the museum of the Hiroshima bomb , we paid a European model of tram and we went in the "center".
We went in a bad place absurd when we have looked perplexed (oh my God two gaijin) but perfect for us: a big man M'arrabbio as gruff and a couple of helpful employees, working in a tiny little room made from the counter and few stools. On hot
counter, in front of customers, the chef prepares okonomiyaki.
Luckily they had a sort of menu English (simplified loooong). And we were able to sample the bomb, composed of eggs, cabbage, meat, soy and other things that I can not . But 'the taste was good. And we have also given two paddles cut from the sun. We remain the

(or?) Okonomiyaki only 2 more times.
The first in a matsuri out Kyoto (the magnificent temple of Inari ) stand in a very picturesque fishing for small fish and between children with colorful lanterns. The second
Kamakura, a town near Tokyo, famous for its huge Buddha that has survived several earthquakes and tsunamis. A restaurant composed of women only very cheerful and kind, where we were served at the table, also consists hot plate (just like Kiss me Licia).
I must say that the ' okonomiyaki has a strong flavor, is in a bit heavier and a bit at the end' putty. But it is worth tasting! And it is quite cheap.
